The news tube

As far-flung as FODPAL members' military service and subsequent lives may be, today's media and communications tools make it a much smaller world than in the past.
YouTube, the video-sharing network, is just one of the ways FODPAL members can keep up with events ... anywhere, really. Two European entities that have figured into past FODPAL coverage have their own channels; bookmark them to always stay on top of what's going on.

If you're wondering what may be going on at a specific military facility or town, just do a search on YouTube - with the multitude of content on there today, you're likely to come up with something.
And, of course, there's The American Legion's YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/americanlegionHQ. It includes playlists featuring everything from the Veterans Health Center to "I Am The American Legion" profiles to Honor & Remembrance.
