Announcements: Read American Legion National Officers in Place for the 2019-2020 Legion Year. Congratulations to National Commander Bill Oxford. American Legion membership eligibility dates revision was read verbatim; extending American Legion membership to any veteran who had honorable service from Dec 7, 1941, to a date to be determined in the future. This opens membership and American Legion benefits to an additional [4+] million veterans. [The LEGION Act changed the eligibility dates from seven to two, subject to the same limitations and restrictions as in use before the change.]
