Here are some discounts for veterans and servicemembers for restaurants, retail outlets and recreational opportunities during Military Appreciation Month. While these have been verified, check your local franchise to be sure that they are honoring the discounts and for more information.

Rack Room Shoes
Military personnel can present their valid U.S. Military ID to receive a 10% discount on in-store purchases every Tuesday and a 20% discount every Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Veterans Day.

Silent Professionals
Silent Professionals is offering free access to its specialized job board made for veterans. They help veterans find work using the skills they gained in military service. To use the job board and get access for free, veterans just need to go to https://silentprofessionals.org/, and indicate they're a veteran during the registration process.

Free admission to the nation’s active-duty military personnel, including the National Guard and Reserves, and their families.

California Great Adventure
To honor its guests who serve in the military, all active or retired military members will receive free admission to Great America on Saturday, Sunday and Monday of Memorial Day weekend. Just show valid ID at the ticket booths to participate in our military salute. Additionally, military members can purchase up to six tickets for family and friends for just $28 each.

The 2021 Blue Star Museums program begins on Armed Forces Day—Saturday, May 15, 2021, and ends on Labor Day—Monday, September 6, 2021.

Cincinnati Zoo
All members of the military — active and retired — will receive FREE admission to the Zoo on Memorial Day, July 4 and Veteran’s Day.  The offer also allows military personnel to purchase up to six (6) half-price admission tickets for members of their immediate family.

Indianapolis Zoo
To honor our men and women in service, all current and former members of the military are admitted free on Memorial Day and Veterans Day. Plus, all non-military family members receive a $2 discount on day-of, on-site ticket purchases on these holidays. The rest of the year, the Zoo offers a $2 discount to all current and former members of the military, good for the purchase of up to four day-of, on-site tickets per visit. Please bring a form of military ID with you to receive the discounts.
