Legion Player of the Year visits Cooperstown

Anthony Harrold of Brooklawn, N.J., was recognized on Doubleday Field during the National Baseball Hall of Fame Classic game.

As the 2013 American Legion George Rulon Player of the Year, Anthony Harrold enjoyed a trip to Cooperstown, N.Y., where he was recognized on Doubleday Field during the National Baseball Hall of Fame Classic game.

While in Cooperstown, Harrold, who played for Brooklawn, N.J., Post 72 – the 2013 American Legion World Series champions – visited the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum and met many famous major league baseball players and Legion alumni, including Hall of Famer and 1964 Legion Player of the Year Rollie Fingers.
