It’s down to 32 teams to set the field for the 96th American Legion World Series.

The 2023 American Legion Baseball season ended for 16 more teams Friday as the double-elimination regionals continued.

Here’s the region-by-region roundup of results:

Region 1: Northeast

At Shrewsbury, Mass. (Post 397)

Game 9: Greece (N.Y.) Post 468 d. Franklin (Mass.) Post 75, 5-4; Post 75 eliminated.

Tyler Stack’s single in the bottom of the seventh scored Jaden Madrid and Brody Froman for the game-winning runs.

Game 10: Nashua (N.H.) Post 3 d. Essex (Vt.) Post 91, 10-4; Post 91 eliminated.

Derek Finlay and Ryan Haskell each had 2 hits and scored 3 times for Nashua.

Game 11: Ellsworth (Maine) Post 207 d. Cumberland (R.I.) Post 14, 7-3.
