All four teams in the Stars Division are 1-1 heading into the final day of pool play.

A big second inning for Lincoln (Neb.) Post 500 in its 14-7 win over League City (Tex.) means the Stars Division of the 2025 American Legion World Series will come down to Sunday's games.

Winners of the 1 p.m. League City-Rockport (Ind.) Post 254 game and the 4 p.m. Lincoln-Portland (Ore.) Post 158 game will advance into Monday’s semifinals. Each team is 1-1 through two days of the eight-team event at Veterans Field at Keeter Stadium in Shelby, N.C.

Lincoln (53-10) broke the game open with an 11-run second inning highlighted by three home runs — Brodie McIntire's grand slam and two-run homers by Kalai Larsen and Bradyn Erickson.

Post 500's 11-run inning was the second of the day as Bossier City (La.) scored 11 in its 14-1, 5-inning victory over Greece (N.Y.) in Saturday's first contest.

Erickson (3 hits, home run, 2 RBIs), Carter Harmes (2 hits, double, home run, 2 RBIs), Larsen (2 hits, home run, 2 RBIs) and Bryson Rhodes (2 hits, triple) led Lincoln's 13-hit offense.

For League City (37-2), leadoff batter Caden Schindler (4 hits, 2 home runs, 2 RBIs) was perfect at the plate.

The game was suspended for 51 minutes in the second inning due to lightning in the area.
