Chip Ganassi Racing rookie Linus Lundqvist will drive the car, which carries Be the One messaging on its scheme, during most of the 2024 NTT INDYCAR SERIES season.
Chip Ganassi Racing (CGR) today revealed via social media the livery that rookie Linus Lundqvist will primarily drive during the 2024 NTT INDYCAR SERIES season.
The No. 8 American Legion Honda features prominent branding for both The American Legion and its Be the One veteran suicide prevention program. Lundqvist will drive the car most of the season, including in the 108th running of the Indianapolis 500.
In November, it was announced that Lundqvist would drive the No. 8 car for CGR. Lundqvist, 24, signed a multi-year deal with Chip Ganassi Racing on Aug. 31 after setting the fastest lap times in two of his first three INDYCAR races in 2023.
“I’m incredibly excited to be partnering with The American Legion for the 2024 INDYCAR season,” Lundqvist said at the time of the announcement. “To move on to the next chapter and to be connected to the veteran community makes it even more special. I am privileged to be able to represent such an impactful organization and I am looking forward to our work together with Be The One."
The 2024 NTT INDYCAR SERIES gets started March 10 with the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg in Florida.
