Veterans Day opportunity for vet entrepreneurs

The General Services Administration, an independent government agency, will hold a conference for veteran small business owners on Veterans Day in Atlanta.

The General Services Administration (GSA), an independent government agency, will hold a conference for veteran small business owners on Veterans Day in Atlanta. Attendees will get a chance to network with federal buyers for financial opportunities in the upcoming fiscal year. GSA’s “Gun Salute to Honor Veteran-Owned Small Businesses” will convene at the Sam Nunn Federal Conference Center from 9 a.m to 12 p.m.

In attendance will be representatives from the Department of Labor, IBM, Environment Protection Agency and Housing and Urban Development, along with a number of other agencies. Registration for the event begins at 8 a.m. Attendees should wear business attire or a polo shirt displaying their company’s logo.
