Veterans, servicemembers and military spouses will have several options for career fairs in October.
Fort Jackson (S.C.) will host a hiring fair on Oct. 17 at Solomon Center, 6510 Strom Thurmond Blvd. The event includes a personal branding workshop from 8:30 to 10 a.m., followed by a hiring fair from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
On Oct. 18, the Fort Lee (Va.) Job Fair takes place at the Regimental Club, 2609 C Ave., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Follow the link for details on access to the installation.
The Warwick (R.I.) Hiring Fair is scheduled for Oct. 20 at Warwick Mall, 400 Bald Hill Road. A personal branding workshop takes place from 8:30 to 10 a.m. with an employer brunch and learn from 9-10 a.m. The hiring fair is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The El Paso Hiring Fair takes place from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Oct. 26 at the Armed Forces Reserve Center, 11701 Montana Ave. A personal branding workshop from 8:30 to 10 a.m. will be followed by a hiring fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Fort Hood Military Spouse Career Event will be held Oct. 26 at Club Hood, 5764 24th St. A personal branding workshop is scheduled for 9 a.m. with the hiring fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
And on Oct. 26, a military spouse career event is scheduled to take place at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in New Jersey. The hiring fair is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Tommy B’s, East Arnold Avenue Bldg 2705.
Other events scheduled across the nation in October include:
