Jan. 13 event aimed at helping servicemembers transitioning to civilian workforce.
The American Legion will present a transition and employment workshop for servicemembers from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Jan. 13 at the Phantom Warrior Center, Bldg. 194, 37th Street, Fort Hood, Texas.
The event will include a military-to-civilian translation résumé workshop; a financial literacy workshop; a federal résumé workshop; a networking reception with employer panel on how to succeed at networking events; a LinkedIn workshop; and American Legion department service officer claims briefing and assistance.
Following the workshops, there will be a networking luncheon and employer panel for participants on how to succeed at networking events.
