The Department of New Jersey was again on hand to provide resources and services for veterans attending the 9th annual event.
Some 400 jobseekers attended the 9th annual New Jersey Casino Career Fair, an event which the Department of New Jersey has been a part of since the beginning.
The April 30 event in Atlantic City gave jobseekers a chance to meet with hiring representatives from each of the state’s nine casinos. The Department of New Jersey and other veterans service organizations were on hand to present resources and services for veterans among those looking for a career.
“Another successful career fair for our vets and families,” said Bob Looby, past department commander, who added the event has drawn over 1,600 job seekers in its nine years. “Thanks to many, including our partner the New Jersey Casino Control Commission Chair James Plousis and team, and ongoing partner providers the New Jersey State Parole Board, the VA, DVA, Camden Catholic Charities and more."
