The weeklong training on servant leadership will be held in Indianapolis at American Legion National Headquarters.
The 2025 session of National American Legion College (NALC) in Indianapolis begins Sunday, Nov. 16, and will conclude Friday, Nov. 21, with a graduation ceremony. The current class includes 54 American Legion members representing 44 departments who will meet at American Legion National Headquarters for the training.
This will be the first class under new NALC Chancellor and Past National Commander Daniel Seehafer, and NALC Dean Mike Rohan, a past American Legion Marketing Commission chairman and husband of Past National Commander Denise Rohan. Under their guidance, NALC is focusing on the principles and practices of servant leadership within The American Legion.
Legion College students will learn how to lead with empathy, integrity and purpose, while fostering collaboration and empowerment within their posts, counties, districts and departments. Through a combination of readings, discussions and practical applications, this course will equip students to embody servant leadership in advancing The American Legion’s mission.
