Participants are pursuing community service, mental wellness and fitness goals as they honor America’s birthday while supporting disabled veterans and military families.
American Legion Family and Friends,
I write to you today with a simple ask: Will you do one thing that will boost mental wellness, increase physical fitness and/or support your community?
If your answer is yes, then please register here today to join The American Legion’s USA 250 Challenge. The challenge, which concludes on the nation’s 250th birthday next July, offers three categories for you to set and achieve goals while also supporting The American Legion’s Veterans & Children Foundation (VCF).
Proceeds from your $30 registration fee go toward the VCF and help drive necessary funds for training service officers who work on behalf of our nation’s disabled veterans every day. The VCF also helps military families with minor children in financial distress.
Your participation goes beyond supporting the VCF.
By participating in the mental wellness challenge, you are directly helping fellow veterans who might be struggling.
By participating in the community service challenge, you are directly improving the community around you and showing the impact of The American Legion.
By participating in the physical activities challenge, you are improving your own fitness and by extension your mental wellness and how you support your community.
Together, we can and we will make a difference in the lives of our fellow veterans, our American Legion Family and the communities in which we live.
If you haven’t already, please sign up for the challenge, encourage others and share this link to register.
Thank you, in advance, for your support of improving mental wellness, physical fitness and our communities.
