Exhibit hall, claims clinic opening; Color Guard Contests starting in morning this year.
Friday, Aug. 28, is the first day of activities at the 107th American Legion National Convention in Louisville, Ky. The exhibit hall at the Kentucky International Convention Center will open – and with it the blood drive – and the claims clinic will kick off. Other special events include:
– the off-site community outreach project at Greenwood Cemetery
– the Color Guard Contests, starting earlier than usual at 10:30 a.m. and the JROTC Contests at 2:30 p.m.
