Walter F. Baker, Waterloo, N.Y. Walter F. Baker of Post 366 (Department of New York) passed away Oct. 12 at 81. He was a Korean War Army veteran. Mr. Baker served as department commander from 1993 to 1994, National Americanism Council vice chairman from 1984 to 1997, and National Children & Youth Commission consultant from 1987 to 2005.

Paul A. Cortright, Clearwater, Fla. Paul A. Cortright of Post 904 (Department of New York) passed away Oct. 31 at 73. He was a Vietnam War Army veteran. Mr. Cortwright served as department commander from 2004 to 2005 and National Foreign Relations Council vice chairman from 2000 to 2012.

Oscar L. Faoro, Sacramento, Calif. Oscar L. Faoro of Post 21 (Department of California) passed away Sept. 22 at 93. He was a World War II Navy veteran. Mr. Faoro was a member of the National Membership & Post Activities Committee from 1953 to 1954.

Cleave B. Weiss, Batesville, Ark. Cleave B. Weiss of Post 336 (Department of Arkansas) passed away Nov. 6 at 80. He was a Korean War Army veteran. Mr. Weiss served as department commander from 1985 to 1986, National Executive Committeeman from 2009 to 2011 and Alternate National Executive Committeeman from 2008 to 2009. He was a member of the National Internal Affairs Commission from 1998 to 2001, the National Internal Affairs Liaison Committee from 2009 to 2011 and the National Veterans Affairs & Rehabilitation Commission from 2005 to 2009.
