During the 95th American Legion national convention in Houston, the Legion Family raised more than:

$400,000 for Operation Comfort Warriors, bringing the total donations to more than $1.1 million.

$158,000 for the National Emergency Fund, including $54,474 from the Department of Pennsylvania and $37,248 from the Department of New York.

$26,000 for the Child Welfare Foundation, including $15,000 from the Department of Ohio Charities, Inc.
- $764,000 for the Legacy Scholarship Fund. Nearly 400 Legion Riders set a record donation total for the eighth annual American Legion Legacy Run to benefit the children of fallen U.S. servicemembers.
