Veterans museum. If you’re planning to visit Columbus, Ohio, the new National Veterans Memorial and Museum is now open. The 53,000-square-foot museum allows visitors to trace the service and sacrifice of U.S. veterans from the Revolutionary War through the war on terrorism through the words of the veterans themselves. A 2.5-acre Memorial Grove, created as a place for reflection and remembrance, is on the seven-acre campus in downtown Columbus. Learn more at  www.nationalvmm.org.
