The American Legion continues to serve community, state and nation as the coronavirus pandemic persists.

The American Legion continues to serve community, state and nation as the coronavirus pandemic persists. A gift from Taiwan of 250,000 protective masks to The American Legion was immediately put to use with a 10,000-mask donation to the Soldiers’ Home in Holyoke, Mass., for residents and staff there.

Meanwhile, American Legion experts are handling thousands of disability claims and decision appeals for veterans, free of charge.

An Arizona post is leading COVID-19 testing efforts in its community, and the Senate passed an American Legion-backed bill to expand Agent Orange benefits for service-exposed veterans.
