Vehicle donation, Auxiliary units and new members.

  • Owners of unused vehicles can donate them for tax breaks while also benefiting American Legion programs. Proceeds from each auction sale via Charitable Auto Rides Service, Inc. will go toward American Legion charities and programs. For more information on how to donate, visit legion.careasy.org.
  • Did you know that of the 12,000 American Legion posts, more than one-third – 4,600 – do not have an Auxiliary unit? In a new public service announcement, American Legion National Commander Bill Oxford and American Legion Auxiliary President Nicole Clapp are calling on posts to grow their Legion Family by starting units. Watch the PSA on legion.org/legiontv. Posts that want to start a new unit can download the Auxiliary’s how-to guide. https://www.legion-aux.org/.
