Wellcare was honored to support the American Legion Riders on the annual Legacy Run, held Aug. 17–21, 2025. This 815-mile journey successfully raised awareness and donations of $986,035 for the Veterans & Children Foundation (VCF), continuing a powerful tradition of honoring those who serve.
This year’s run was a tremendous success, and Wellcare was proud to once again be part of the journey. Our team engaged with riders throughout the route with thoughtful touchpoints, including our popular “Ready for the Ride” bags filled with practical essentials, snacks and hydration. In Little River, S.C., Wellcare proudly served dessert to more than 300 riders at American Legion Post 186, creating a moment of connection and celebration during the ride. A balloon arch greeted the riders at the final stop in Lutz, Fla., with iced treats and cooling towels provided for these road warriors.
From cool treats and giveaways to reconnecting with so many familiar faces, our small but mighty team was grateful to share in the camaraderie that makes the Legacy Run such an unforgettable tradition.

On Sept. 18, 1947, the United States Air Force became the newest branch of our Armed Forces and since that day, it has defended our skies, advanced our capabilities in air and space, and embodied the highest values of service to our nation.
This year, we proudly celebrate the 78th birthday of the U.S. Air Force. From the brave Aircrew who have flown into harm’s way to those who have supported missions on the ground, each has played a vital role in protecting our freedoms.
