The Feb. 24 virtual Training Tuesday will provide Legionnaires with guidance on veteran eligiblity for a service dog, public rights and best practices for interacting with a service dog.
John Brouse, a past vice commander for the American Legion Department of New Jersey, will present the February Training Tuesday webinar on service dogs and veteran support. Brouse will provide American Legion members with clear, practical guidance on understanding service dog teams, veteran eligibility, legal considerations, and best practices for interacting with working dogs in post and public settings.

• The difference between service dogs and emotional support animals
