
The annual meetings of The American Legion begin Oct. 6.
The annual Fall Meetings of The American Legion will be held Oct. 6-9 in Indianapolis.
Members of American Legion national commissions will meet Oct. 6-7 at the Sheraton City Centre Hotel Indianapolis to prepare reports that will be delivered to the National Executive Committee (NEC). The NEC will meet Oct. 8-9 at National Headquarters to review the reports and vote on resolutions brought forth.
Remarks will be delivered by American Legion National Commander Dan K. Wiley, and other distinguished guests beginning at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 8. His remarks will be livestreamed on the Legion's YouTube page.
During Fall Meetings, the 2025 Samsung American Legion Scholarship recipients will be awarded and the 2026 Child Well-Being Foundation grant recipients will be announced. The Samsung scholarship is awarded to eligible participants of the current session of American Legion Boys State and Auxiliary Girls State. And Child Well-Being Foundation grants are awarded to nonprofits that contribute to the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual needs of youth.
