Several of those who checked in offered reports on Legion programs and projects in their communities. Dave, AB9BZ, noted that their post was hosting a Christmas party for residents of his community. John, K8DHH, recently joined the Legion and the club, noting he did so because of the Legion's support of veterans, the community and because of the Legion's Radio Club. Everett, WA3DVO, noted that his post recently sponsored a JOTA Event [Jamboree-On-The-Air], which is an annual Scouting event that uses amateur radio to link Scouts in the community, across the nation and around the world. Ricardo, KJ4BET, reported on his post's participation in Wreaths Across America and placed wreaths on veterans' graves in the Atlanta area and around the state. Ricardo also noted that his post was to sponsor a Christmas party for the local Civil Air Patrol squadron, and another Christmas party for children in his area. Dwight, K9SYK, reported on his post's annual project of a Christmas party for local children, complete with gifts for all.
