Several on the net today had remarks related to the latest COVID situations in their area. Rich AC8AL reported recent activities with SkyWarn ops in his area of Florida. Edgar N3TFS recommended TALARC members wear TALARC pins and patches on their clothing to raise consciousness of the club and the Legion in general. Michael KN4FCV reported on recent activities at his Tennessee Post 2 related to Wreaths Across America. Everett WA3DVO had questions about QSL cards and certificates related to Special Event operations. Rich AC8AL noted that his club sends both cards and certificates electronically [email or text], rather than snail-mailing hard copies to those who QSO with their Special Event Stations. Other TALARC clubs do the same in order to cut expenses and expedite delivery of the “paperwork” following an SE.
