Announcements: From Net Announcements: Starting Jan. 1, the TALARC newsletter will no longer be distributed. The www.legion.org/hamradio site will continue with the latest news. Also, special event stations for the Legion’s birthday and Veterans Day will not be held by HQ staff, but TALARC clubs and posts are encouraged to start their own special events.
New net from Post 275, the 4th Saturday of every month on Wires-X Room 21433 at 1200 EST. The Post 46 Wilderness Road American Legion will hold the monthly D-Star Net on Monday, Feb. 1 at 8 pm EST on Ref 56C, and EchoLink Node of KY4RW-L. Early check-ins are accepted ½ hour before net starts. American Legion nets and frequencies can be found at www.legion.org/hamradio.

If you have a digital voice-capable radio D-Star, C4FM, Wires-X or DMR, and would like to join next Thursday’s net, all information can be found at www.openquad.net. NOTE: The C4FM reflector can be found at Quadnet-Array, Room 45058. D-Star via XRF 757A, and DMR via Talkgroup 31012. K5TAL also hosts an 80 M net every Wednesday at 7 pm CDT on 3.862 mhz.
