The announcement from June Net Announcements concerning the TALARC net listings.
American Legion Post 275 in Glenarden, Md., will for the second year sponsor a Special Event Station to recognize the 96thanniversary of the dedication of the “Peace Cross.” N4TAL will operate the station on Sunday, July 11, 2021 from 1200 ET to 1600 ET on 7.275 MHz LSB, +/- 1KHz. The Post 46 Wilderness Road American Legion holds a monthly D-Star net on the first Monday of every month at 8 pm EST on Ref 56C, and EchoLink Node of KY4RW-L. Early check-ins are accepted ½ hour before net starts.
Post 275, Upper Marlboro, holds a monthly Wires-X on the fourth Saturday of every month on Room 21433 at noon EST. The second Saturday of each month, N3TAL conducts a net starting at 1 pm ET on 14.275 and K9TAL conducts an EchoLink net at 1200 ET on *FMCA-ARC* Conference Node.

TALARC membership is now up to 4,871 with hopeful expectations of being above 5,000 soon. Do your part: invite your ham friends to join the Legion, and TALARC.
The Department of Mississippi has authorized a TALARC Coordinating Committee to assist posts to start clubs, individuals to get licensed and posts to connect with EOCs.
Thursdays at 7 pm CST, K5TAL hosts an all-digital net via a service called Quadnet Array (www.openquad.net). This service allows any form of digital voice to be routed so DMR users can hear D-Star and C4FM Fusion, D-Star can hear everyone, as can C4FM users. It also allows DV Dongle users to communicate likewise. The net is listed on the www.openquad.netwebsite. You can listen to the HF 80 meter by going to www.n4dkd.com and enter the frequency and LSB. If you have an Apple device, there is a box to the right to enable audio for IOS.
