Military supporters everywhere are encouraged to participate in 2-kilometer event that aims raise awareness for homeless veterans.

On June 2, VA is hosting a nationwide Walk and Roll event, where military supporters everywhere are invited to participate in a 2k ‘fun run or walk’ to raise awareness for homeless veterans. Around 130 VA facilities around the country will participate, mapping out their own 2-kilometer courses for runners or walkers who want to kick start National Employee Wellness Month, an initiative that promotes healthy lifestyles among professional people. Registration is free, but donations are accepted.

Contact your local VA or email AskVHAEmployeewellness@va.gov for more information about participating or volunteering in the run-walk. Donations go toward supporting homeless veterans.
