Martin Luther King Jr. Day is Jan. 19. American Legion Family members already have events planned to honor the civil rights icon.
Monday, Jan. 19, is Martin Luther King Jr. Day, designated to honor the birth of the civil rights leader and Nobel Prize recipient. American Legion Family members regularly participate in Martin Luther King Day observances, and this year is no exception. Already, multiple posts have events scheduled to both honor and educate about the civil rights icon.
