64 resolutions passed by National Executive Committee released to Legion’s Digital Archive.
While gathered at National Headquarters in Indianapolis for Fall Meetings, the National Executive Committee passed a total of 64 resolutions, spanning Legion programs and positions both internally and externally. Those resolutions are now available to view in the Legion’s Digital Archive. See the collection here.
The process of rescinding non-legislative policy resolutions (some going all the way back to the 1920s) no longer coinciding with the Legion’s mission continues, as divisions and commissions seek to pare down the numbers of resolutions on their books. Over the next week, resolutions rescinded at the Fall Meetings will be removed from the archive.
Meanwhile, the process of digitizing Legion assets also continues. At the moment, all active resolutions dating back to 1992 are searchable, and a host of other materials are online. Visit the Digital Archive here.
