Members can receive the magazine content early by opting out of the print edition.
American Legion members who want to read The American Legion Magazine digitally before the print edition is available now have that ability.
Those who wish to see all the magazine content on a digital platform and stop receiving the printed edition can do so by logging into their MyLegion.org account and click on the Opt-Out button in the magazine area under subscriptions. Opting out of the print edition is also possible by contacting American Legion Customer Service at cs@legion.org or by calling 800-433-3318.
Currently, the previous two years of the magazine appear at MyLegion before they are posted on the National Headquarters digital archives. Editions dating back to July 4,1919, are housed there.
The American Legion Magazine is published monthly online in the MyLegion.org platform. It appears both in a phone-friendly format for users of mobile devices and as a digi-mag, complete with live hotlinks to videos and advertisers’ sites, along with other features, better viewed from a laptop or desktop computer.
Any American Legion or Sons of The American Legion member with a MyLegion.org account can view the magazine through the SUBSCRIPTIONS portal on their member page.
