Annual report highlights Legion's programs and how they are enacted.
The American Legion has released its 2016 Annual Report, which is available as a free download on legion.org/publications.
Inside the 56-page report, readers can learn about American Legion successes from the past year and find information on the organization’s programs which support its four pillars: Veterans Affairs & Rehabilitation; National Security; Americanism; and Children & Youth.
Among those programs are the System Worth Saving visits to VA medical centers across the nation, whose findings and observations from stakeholders are shared with members of Congress and VA; Operation Comfort Warriors, which provides necessary resources for recovering veterans and servicemembers; and youth programs such as Boys Nation and American Legion Baseball.
