The monthly magazine is rated best-read among men, and third overall, according to a new third-party survey of all U.S. publications.
American Legion Magazine is again the best-read magazine among men in the United States, according to a new survey by MRI-Simmons Spring Doublebase 2026 USA.
The survey asks magazine subscribers how frequently they read the magazines to which they subscribe. The data is then broken down into those who read three or four out of the previous four issues.
American Legion Magazine consistently ranks among the best-read magazines among all readers. This year was no exception as it took third overall, behind just AARP and the Costco Connection.
“This is a tribute to our dedicated audience of veterans and the importance of delivering them a high-quality magazine every month,” said Holly Lewis, chair of the American Legion Media and Communications Commission, which oversees the magazine and other media products. “At the same time, we are continually looking to improve on our long track record of success. And we have some exciting improvements in the works that will propel our magazine into an even more popular publication.”
