District revitalization and service sessions planned for Mendocino, Sacramento and Yolo counties.

American Legion national staff and Department of California Legionnaires are teaming up in the next two weeks for a pair of district revitalization and veterans outreach efforts in Mendicino, Sacramento and Yolo counties.

• Mendicino County: The effort will take place Jan. 11-12 at Sequoia American Legion Post 96, Veterans Memorial Building, 360 N. Harrison Street, Fort Bragg. The hours are 9 a.m.-4 p.m. both days; a county veterans service officer will be available both days to assist with Department of Veterans Affairs-related questions and claims.

• Sacramento and Yolo counties: The effort will take place Jan. 18-20 at Yolo American Legion Post 77, 523 Bush Street, Woodland. The hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Jan. 18-19 and 9 a.m.-noon Jan. 20. A county veterans service officer will be available both days to assist with Department of Veterans Affairs-related questions and claims.
