Washington Conference brought Legionnaires from across the country to advocate on behalf of veterans.

The American Legion’s 64th Washington Conference, related commission meetings, panel discussions and trips to the offices of congressional leaders hit on some of the organization’s top priorities in late February, including suicide prevention, health care, tuition assistance for active-duty troops and more.

Meanwhile, the American Legion Child Welfare Foundation disbursed nearly $100,000 in grants, the Tango Alpha Lima podcast recorded another milestone for downloads, and Wisconsin Legionnaires raised awareness and funds to help homeless veterans on a cold February night.
