American Legion Post 122 in Canby will host a veterans outreach and revitalization effort May 30-June 1.
The American Legion Department of Oregon is staging a veterans outreach and post revitalization effort May 30-June 1 in Canby. Veterans in the Northwest Oregon area are invited to discuss veterans’ benefits, and learn about the Legion’s legislative efforts, membership opportunities and service to the community.
The effort will take place from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. all three days at American Legion Post 122, 424 NW 1st Ave., Canby, An accredited American Legion service officer will be available to assist veterans and their families with VA claims, including PACT Act claims, at no cost and answer other questions related to benefits.
