American Legion Post 135 in Phenix City hosting revitalization effort that will include American Legion service officer.
The American Legion Department of Alabama is staging an outreach and post revitalization effort Oct. 18 for veterans in and around Chambers, Clay, Randolph, Russell and Tallapoosa Counties.
Veterans and their families are invited to American Legion Post 135, 511 13th St., Phenix City, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. to learn about the Legion’s legislative efforts, membership opportunities and service to the community. A veteran service officer will be available to discuss claims and other benefits questions.
