American Legion Posts 131 in Columbiana and Post 76 in Mobile hosting revitalization efforts.
A pair of veterans outreach and district revitalization efforts will be take place in The American Legion Department of Alabama on Oct 25. Veterans in both areas are encouraged to attend either effort to discuss veterans’ benefits, and learn about the Legion’s legislative efforts, membership opportunities and service to the community. An American Legion service officer will be on hand to assist with U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs benefits claims and answer other questions.
· Veterans in and around Bibb, Chilton, Coosa, Shelby, and Talladega counties are invited to visit American Legion Post 131, 194 Washington St., Columbiana, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m
· Veterans in and around Mobile County are invited to visit Legion Post 76, 1918 DuVal St., Mobile, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
