American Legion Post 80 in Andalusia hosting revitalization and benefits assistance effort Sept. 13.r
The American Legion Department of Alabama is staging an outreach and post revitalization effort Sept. 20 for veterans in and around Butler, Crenshaw, Conecuh, Covington and Escambia counties. Veterans in and around Andalusia are invited to receive veterans’ benefits assistance, and learn about the Legion’s legislative efforts, membership opportunities and service to the community.
The effort will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at American Legion Post 80, 1852 E. Three Notch St., Andalusia. A veteran service officer will be available to discuss claims and other benefits questions.
