Revitalization effort set for Oct. 17 at American Legion Post 44 in Harrison.
The American Legion Department of Arkansas is staging a veteran outreach and post revitalization effort Oct. 17 for veterans in and around Baxter, Boone, Marion, Newton, Searcy and Van Buren Counties. Veterans in and around Harrison are invited to discuss veterans’ benefits, and learn about the Legion’s legislative efforts, membership opportunities and service to the community.
The effort is being hosted by Allen-McKinney Post 44, which is housed in the Camp Jack building at 411 S. Pine St. in Harrison. A veteran service officer will be available to discuss claims and other benefits questions.
