Training sessions will take place Jan. 31 in Indianapolis and Feb. 7 in Atlanta.
Planning currently is underway for The American Legion’s next two National Regional Information Conferences (NRIC). The conference is designed for any Legionnaire and Sons of The American Legion member to learn valuable training on the organization’s mission, vision and programs, and to connect with American Legion Family members. Attendees do not have to hold an officer position to attend.
Registration will open Aug. 27; check back here for updates. The dates and locations for 2026’s NRICs are:
· Jan. 31, 2026 – the Marriott East, 7202 East 21st St, Indianapolis.
· Feb. 7, 2026 –Westin Atlanta Airport, 4736 Best Rd, Atlanta.
The curriculum for the one-day sessions include:
· Legal topics
· Be the One
· American Legion programs
· Running an effective meeting
· Post operations
· Membership retention
The NRICs are designed for American Legion leaders at the department, district and post level looking to increase operational effectiveness, and to strengthen understanding and implementation of American Legion programs and services.
