The following are discounts for veterans and servicemembers for restaurants, retail, attractions and more throughout May and during Memorial Day weekend. While these have been verified, check your local franchise to be sure that they are honoring the discounts and for more information.

RETAIL
To recognize and support active-duty military and veterans, 7-Eleven will be doubling their fuel discount to 10¢ off per gallon for verified 7Rewards and ID.me members. When combined with the existing 5¢ everyday discount through the 7Rewards app, eligible customers can save at least 15¢ per gallon at all participating 7-Eleven gas stations nationwide during Military Appreciation Month from May 1 to May 31. This initiative provides meaningful savings at the pump and reinforces 7-Eleven’s ongoing commitment to serving the military community and their families.
Academy Sports
For active-duty servicemembers, veterans and first responders, Academy Sports + Outdoors offers seasonal military discounts. It’s our way of showing thanks and appreciation for all you do to protect our nation and serve our local communities. We’re working hard to bring value to our community heroes.

Military personnel can present their valid U.S. Military ID to receive a 10% discount on in-store purchases every Tuesday and a 20% discount every Memorial Day, Independence Day and Veterans Day.

Blue Star Museums
Blue Star Museums is a partnership between the National Endowment for the Arts and Blue Star Families, in collaboration with the Department of Defense and museums across America, offering free admission to the nation’s active-duty military personnel and their families, including National Guard and reserve.
The 2025 program runs now through Labor Day, Sept. 1, 2025.

Colonial Williamsburg
On either Memorial Day weekend or Veterans Day weekend, we are proud to offer complimentary admission once annually for active-duty military, reservists, National Guard personnel, retired military and veterans, and up to three direct dependents.
To honor those who serve our country, all current and former military members receive free admission on Memorial Day and Veterans Day. The rest of the year, military members and their families receive $2 off general admission, good for up to four tickets per visit. Please bring a form of military ID with you to receive these discounts.
