Fellowships open to active-duty military and veteran caregivers; deadline to apply Jan. 30.

The Dole Caregiver Fellows program is designed to empower family caregivers who are caring for wounded, ill, or injured veterans of all generations. The initiative provides a platform for caregivers to share their unique experiences and also equips them with resources, training, and a network of support.
Each class serves a two-year term as a current Fellow, then transitions to the foundation’s Alumni program to continue their work. As Fellows, they:
· Drive increased support and action for caregivers in their local communities.
· Advocate for military and veteran caregiver issues on a local, state, and national level.
· Advise the foundation on programs and initiatives.
· Serve as Elizabeth Dole Foundation’s Hidden Heroes representatives at meetings and events with local and national leaders and interviews with media.
· Provide inspiration and personal support for other caregivers through the foundation’s online community, EDF Connect.
Applications must be submitted by 11:59PM PST on Jan. 30.
