'For Love of Liberty', a documentary about black servicemembers profiled in The American Legion Magazine, is re-airing this month on PBS.
"For Love of Liberty: The Story of America's Black Patriots" - a documentary honoring the accomplishments, contributions and lives of black servicemembers - will re-air this month on PBS affiliates in honor of black history month. The film and its contributors were profiled in last year's February issue of The American Legion Magazine.
The documentary, which features interviews and narrations from prominent black celebrities and intellectuals, can also be purchased in DVD format at www.forloveofliberty.org. Educators interested in utilizing the film in an academic setting can purchase a special educational version of the film at www.forloveoflibertyeducation.org.
