COVID-19 cases among Saturday's opponent, USF, forced a third straight Navy football game to be postponed.
For the third week in a row, Navy's football team has seen its game postponed because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Midshipmen (3-4 overall, 3-2 in the American Athletic Conference) were scheduled to play at USF in Tampa, Fla., on Saturday, Nov. 21. But COVID-19 cases among the USF team forced the conference to postpone the game. That follows postponement of Navy home games against Tulsa (Nov. 7) and Memphis (Nov. 14).
The Midshipmen last played Oct. 31 at SMU, where they lost 51-37. Navy's next scheduled game is Dec. 12 at Army.
Army is scheduled to host Georgia Southern at noon ET on Saturday, while Air Force will host New Mexico at 9:30 ET on Friday, Nov. 20.
