More than 300 riders already have registered for the annual motorcycle trek that raises money for The American Legion Legacy Scholarship Fund.
Online registrationis ongoing for this year’s American Legion Legacy Run, sponsored by USAA. The run departs Indianapolis Aug. 18 and arrives at Post 554 in League City near Houston on Aug. 22.

Registration ends Aug. 9. So far, 317 participants have registered for the 2013 ride; more than 500 took part a year ago.
