Veterans and the general public are invited to St. Louis on March 10 for a free housing event that will provide information and resources on making houses and other dwellings handicap-accessible. The St. Louis Realtors Association invites veterans and realtors to its “Accessible Housing For All” expo and seminar, which will provide valuable information on adapting a home to accommodate an ailing or aging family member. Resources are also available for realtors interested in working with special-needs clients.
The event, which is open to the public, will be held at the St. Louis Association of Realtors building from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Realtors, disabled veterans, families of disabled veterans and any individuals with disabilities are encouraged to attend. Families or individuals who face financial challenges in making their homes handicap-accessible are also invited, as financial-aid resources will be available to them at the expo.
