The American Legion will recognize the 2020 award recipients during the 102nd National Convention in Louisville, Ky.
The American Legion National Law Enforcement Officer of the Year and National Firefighter of the Year awards are presented annually during national convention. It’s an opportunity to recognize the service and sacrifice these men and women provide to their community.
Applications for the awards are online and must be received by National Headquarters no later than Saturday, Feb. 1. Download the National Law Enforcement Officer of the Year application here, and National Firefighter of the Year here.
