Let your SAL adjutant know

Sons

Make your adjutant, at all levels of our organization, do his job and send in a Consolidated Report.

As we come to the end of another administrative year for the national organization, we still have many unanswered questions. Have we reached our true potential in what we are capable of doing this past year? Did I report to my squadron the hours, time and donations that I gave to assist my community and the veterans of our great country? Did my squadron, district or detachment adjutant let everyone know what we accomplished as a group?

At the end of this month, we will find out how well we preformed in the last year. At National Convention the Sons of The American Legion chairman will announce the totals of our efforts from the Consolidated Report Forms that were transmitted to National Headquarters. These numbers are also reported to Congress.

It is my belief that every member does something that could be recorded in an area of the Consolidated Report Form. My challenge to you this year is to make your adjutant, at all levels of our organization, do his job and send in a report. Now is the time to start for the 2013 National Convention. We should all be proud possessors of a priceless heritage and proudly proclaim what we do for our veterans, our communities, our state and our nation. Be proud; let your adjutant know!
