The Spring Meetings of the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the Sons of The American Legion will take place April 30-May 1 in Indianapolis.
The commissions and committees of the SAL will meet at the Sheraton City Centre Hotel in downtown Indianapolis to prepare reports to deliver to the SAL NEC. The SAL NEC meeting will also be held at the Sheraton.
Both days of the SAL NEC meeting will be streamed live on the SAL Facebook page.
In conjunction with the meetings, SAL National Commander Michael Fox, members of the SAL NEC and others will participate in a Flying Flags for Heroes event at approximately 2:30 p.m. April 30 at Crown Hill Cemetery. Participants will place flags on the graves of veterans interred at the cemetery, including past American Legion national treasurers and national judge advocates.
Flying Flags for Heroes is Commander Fox’s service project for his term as national commander.
