National Media & Communications wants to highlight what squadrons and detachments are doing for Veterans Day.
Each year, Sons of The American Legion nationwide show their support for veterans through their participation in Veterans Day events in their communities, alongside the rest of the American Legion Family.
The American Legion National Media & Communications Division is looking for SAL squadrons who are going above and beyond this Veterans Day.
If your squadron is organizing or leading a Veterans Day event, let us know. Email wproffet@legion.org with details that include the time, date, location and what the event will entail. We’re looking for events to cover in person and to include in an advance story and a follow-up.
Detachments and squadrons are also encouraged to share stories and photos of their Veterans Day activities at Legiontown.org.
